The Little Theatre Wells

Did you know that the Theatre building, or parts of it, such as the auditorium, rehearsal room or bar, can be hired for stage shows, meetings, presentations or other events?

The Little Theatre possesses considerable facilities in terms of a well-equipped auditorium/stage/dressing room complex, rehearsal room and bar.<

The Society is keen to hire out these facilities to other individuals and groups. This provides us with additional income as well as a certain amount of public relations advantage.

Wells Sub-aqua Diving Group utilise the bar and a lock-up garage and consider the Theatre to be their 'Clubhouse'. They meet weekly, on Thursday evenings in the Member's bar.

Ballet dance and aerobics groups hire the rehearsal room on a regular basis. The room is often used for private parties; jumble sales and even motorbike bring and buy events!

The Auditorium and Stage are in frequent use between our own shows and outside theatre groups. Local schools, and more recently the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School have used our facilities for their own productions.
